Rick Ross Sends Shots At Birdman on New Track
Lately the Biggest Boss Rick Ross has been very outspoken on his disdain towards Cash Money CEO Birdman and he personally warned everyone he’d be coming for him on his latest album “Rather You Than Me”, which is set to drop today at midnight.
The album features a song entitled “Idols Become Rivals”, which Rozay spoke about in his last visit at The Breakfast Club when asked about the situation between him and Birdman.
Ross stated, “I’ve got a record titled “Idols Become Rivals” and it’s basically me writing a letter to someone in the game that I looked up to damn near the most and I hate what things have come to”.
Well some lyrics of the song are now available and let’s just say Ross definitely didn’t bite his tongue or make it subliminal in regards to who he was speaking of in the track. Check out some of the shots he sent in the lyrics below:
“And then I met you out on LiveNation dates, Came to the realization that your watch was fake,
Damn; you nearly broke my heart, I really thought you niggas really owned them cars
Catholic record labels, niggas gettin’ raped, boy, Birdman’s a priest, moans in his synagogue
Publishin’ is a sin, repent, forgive me, Lord Shots fired, home invasion out on Palm Ave
Red beam detonators, who the bomb now? Look you in your eyes, nigga, ‘fore I say good night
And pray that Mannie Fresh’ll get to see the light
Knew that you would never visit BG, Turk came home, take that boy a three piece,
Shootin’ dope, usin’ coke, movin’ like you the Folks, Sacrificin’ half our life for your new music cult
You would give us self esteem and motivate our drive But what’s in our pocket by the time we count to five?, I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne
His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain, I watched this whole debacle so I’m part to blame
Last request, can all producers please get paid?”
As you can see Rozay made it clear who he was speaking to and all things he disliked about how Birdman moved. Now how do you think Birdman will respond?
